Recipe: GT Xpress 101 pie mixture (from page 33)

Desserts - Assorted
"PIE" BATTER (from page 33 of GT Xpress manual)

1 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup baking mix/biscuit mix (like Bisquick)

Mix all ingredients together in a covered shaker. Extra can be stored in the refrigerator for a day or two.

My question to you - what exactly is "baking mix"??

Hope this is what you were looking for and if you would be so kind as to help me out with my question, that would be great! Thanks

karl

A Note from Betsy at Recipelink:

Hi Karl, Thank you for sharing the recipe. Baking mix is sometimes called biscuit mix. A couple of brand examples are Bisquick and Jiffy Baking Mix (or you can make your own): recipes for homemade biscuit mix
