Recipe: Homemade Pasta Dough in a Food Processor

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
Homemade Pasta Dough in a Food Processor
rec.food.recipes/Patti (plm)/1998

2 1/4 cups flour
3 medium eggs

Insert 'bread' blade in food processor (mine is plastic rather than the standard metal blade).

Combine flour and eggs in food processor and process until pasta forms a ball (adding water a few drops at a time until ball forms). If the dough is too sticky add a little more flour. When ball forms take it out of processor and divide into two balls. Take each of the divided balls and divide again (total 4 balls).

Put the divided balls back in the food processor and blend back to one ball. Repeat this process one more time. Dough should come out smooth, firm yet elastic. Shape and cut as desired.
