Recipe(tried): Jerky answers!!
Misc. The Recipes above are great. But my hubby likes mine the best. I just
eye it. Soy sauce, little salt, pepper to taste, garlic POWDER, and
Worcestershire sauce. I use london broil, because it is thicker and
it is easier to cut VERY, VERY thin aginst the grain. I marinate for 12 to
24hrs in fridge. Put in the dehg. at 145 degrese. It can take 4 or 5 hrs. Or
it can take 8 to 10 hrs, depends on a cold or warm house. The oven works fine,
just keep it at the lowest temp, no more than 200deg. And don't open oven
for the first 4 or 5 hrs. I just take a piece and try it to see if it's done.
My hubby dosen't like it to brittle. I have his friends asking me to make jerky
for them cause they like mine so much!! Put it this way, you can't screw it up.
Just make adjustments next time!. Have fun!!!!!!
