Here are some recipes posted previously on these message boards. The first one is a bar type. The other two are drop cookies, but you might be able to adapt them to bar form. The only one that I've tried is Hobbs' Soft Lemon Cookies. They are VERY good. Title:

Base
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus Yellow Cake Mix
2 cups crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup fimly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup Parkay, margarine or butter, softened
Filling
3-oz. lemon pudding and pie filling (not instant)
14-oz can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
3/4 teaspoon lemon extract
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
3 to 5 teaspoons water
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
Heat oven to 350fF. Generously grease bottom and sides of 15x10-inch jelly roll pan. In large bowl, combine all base ingredients at low speed until crumbly.
Reserve 11/2 cups crumbs for topping. Press remaining crumbs in bottom of prepared pan. In small bowl, combine all filling ingredients, mix well. Pour filling
evenly over base; gently spread. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
Bake at 350fF. for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Loosen edges. In small bowl, blend all glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over warm bars.
Cool completely, cut into bars. 48 bars. Title:

Easy Lemon Cookies
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) box lemon cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon lemon extract
confectioners' sugar Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Mix all ingredients except confectioners' sugar in a bowl. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough in
a bowl of confectioners' sugar. Roll them around until they're lightly covered.
Once sugared, put them on an ungreased cookie sheet for 6-9 minutes. The bottoms will
be light brown, and the insides chewy.
Makes 30 - 40 cookiesTitle:

Mix together and drop by teaspoon into powdered sugar. Bake 350 for 10 min.
