Lemon Pudding

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cup milk
3 eggs separated

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend sugar and butter. Add flour, salt and lemon juice. Beat the egg yolks with milk and add to batter. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Set the dish in a pan of hot water. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream.
