LEMONADE CHEESE CAKE
1 package (2-layer size) white cake mix
2 cups (one 16 ounce container) sour cream, divided use
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade, thawed
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar (for the topping)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour tube pan.
Blend dry cake mix, 1 cup sour cream, undiluted lemonade, cream cheese and eggs at low speed until moistened. Beat at high speed for 4 minutes. Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake 50 to 65 minutes or until it tests done. Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove, cool completely.
TO PREPARE THE TOPPING:
Combine 1/4 cup sugar and the remaining 1 cup sour cream, pour over cake and refrigerate.
