Recipe: Lemony Dill Veggies

Lemony Dill Veggies

6 small new potatoes, sliced
3 carrots, cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1 cup cauliflower flowerets
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup ReaLemon Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/2 teaspoon dried dillweed
1/2 teaspoon salt

Arrange potato and carrot in a steamer basket over boiling water; cover and steam 5 minutes.

Add broccoli and cauliflower, cover and steam 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Place vegetables in a serving bowl.

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; whisk in all-purpose flour and cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute.

Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat.

Stir in ReaLemon, dillweed, and salt. Serve with vegetables.

Servings: 4-6
