Recipe: Mandarin Orange Jello Salad (2) (using cottage chese and Cool Whip)

MANDARIN ORANGE JELLO SALAD

2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello (dry)
OPTIONAL ADDITIONS:
coconut, raisins, cherries, mini marshmallows

Mix all ingredients except jello.

Sprinkle dry jello over mixture and mix thoroughly. Chill.

MANDARIN ORANGE JELLO SALAD

1 (1 lb) carton small curd cottage cheese
1 (15 1/2 oz) can crushed pineapple, not drained
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained and cut up
1 to 2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup coconut
1 carton Cool Whip, thawed
1 (6 oz) pkg. apricot, peach, or orange Jello (dry)

Mix all ingredients together and chill.
