Recipe(tried): Margarita

Here is a great margarita, perfect for a hot summer day!

1 cup best quality tequila
1/2 cup Cointreau (orange flavored liqueur)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 cup Kosher salt for the rim of the glasses
3 cups ice

Pour the salt onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of four margarita or double old-fashioned glasses with a little lime juice (or, you can use a cut lime, by running it around the rims of the glasses). Dip each of the glasses lightly in the salt; making sure it adheres all around the rim.

In a pitcher, combine the tequila, orange liqueur, sugar, lime and ice.

Pour into the prepared glasses, relax and enjoy.

Makes four strong drinks.
