Recipe: Mushrooms with Garlic and Onions

MUSHROOMS WITH GARLIC AND ONIONS

1/2 cup oil
1 green pepper, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 onions, chopped
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon oregano

Heat oil in saucepan. Add green pepper, garlic and onions. Saute gently.

Add mushrooms, salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

Maybe served hot or cold.

Servings: 4
