I did try some in a tossed salad, just a few mixed in with other greens. I didn't care for the texture, too fuzzy for my taste. If I use them again in a salad (and I probably will, I get desperate for fresh greens in my salad in the early spring), I would tear them into very small pieces. I do that with a herb I have used early in the spring and it adds the flavor without the tickle to the tongue.
