Recipe(tried): Chewy Pecan Supreme Copycat - Review and Much Needed Improvements
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, BarsI don't know if the author wrote this recipe while making the cookies or after making them, but obviously something went wrong between the baking and the writing. These "cookies" came out more like pecan brittle with the apperance of chunky Swiss cheese and the texture of a piece of slightly melted plastic. The recipe was horrendous, unspecific, and hard to follow, not to mention it completely lacked the addition of the roasted pecans in the batter. I would definitely add more flour to thicken the water-like substance resulting from the recipe and probably add less syrup as well. That is of course if you are willing to try this recipe again. You will have to take a shot at being a recipe creator yourself because this author has done so poorly. I wish you much better luck than the writer.
