PEACH CRUMBLE
3 lbs fresh California peaches
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
FORT HE CRUMBLE:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Butter a 13x9-inch or 12-inch round baking dish.
Slice peaches, toss with 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg. Turn fruit into prepared baking dish.
Mix Crumble ingredients until lumpy and moist (pinch with fingers to make crumbly). Sprinkle over fruit.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Makes 12 servings
