PECAN BRITTLE
3 cups sugar
1 cup Karo light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
3 cups pecans or more
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
Cook sugar, Karo and water until it spins a thread.
Add pecans; cook until all ingredients are an amber color.
Add butter, stir well and then add soda and salt; beat well.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. When cool, break into pieces. Store in Ziploc bags.
