Pecan Tassies
Makes 24
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Cream Cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup flour
1 egg
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Powdered sugar
Mix cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add flour; mix well. Refrigerate. Divide dough into 24 balls; press onto bottoms and sides of cups in miniature muffin pans. Mix egg, brown sugar and vanilla; stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shells, filling each shell 3/4 full. Bake at 3250F for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
