Recipe: Skillet Fudge

Skillet Fudge

2 cups sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
2/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Combine sugar, butter, cinnamon, salt and evaporated milk in electric skillet. Set thermostat at 280 degrees. Bring mixture to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off skillet and add marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla. Stir until marshmallows and chocolate chips are melted and smoothly blended. Pour into buttered dish. Cool before cutting into squares.

Variations: Butterscotch chips and walnuts.
Chocolate-Mint Chips with or without nuts.
