ALMOST FAT FREE BROWNIE MIX IN A JAR
1 cup turbinado sugar
1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/4 cup Dutch-process unsweeteened cocoa powder
1/4 cup Ghiradelli powdered chocolate
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp powdedred egg whtites plus
1 tsp powdered egg whites
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Place all ingredients in a medium-size mixing bowl. Stir together gently with a wire whisk until all ingredients are combined. Store in a sealable container.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING THE BROWNIES:
You will need:
1 (8 oz.) container of fat free vanilla yogurt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8x8-inch pan with cooking spray.
Empty the brownie mix from the jar into a medium-size bowl.
Add the yogurt and stir well. Mixture will be rather thick. Spread in the prepared pan.
Bake for 31-33 minutes, until brownies test ALMOST done. Cool completely before cutting.
