PIZZA STROMBOLI
1 pound frozen dough, thawed and risen
4 ounces fresh mushrooms
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon oil
1 pound lean ground beef
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Thaw bread dough, cover and let rise.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Saute mushrooms and red peppers in oil. Stir in parsley and oregano; set aside.
Brown ground beef until cooked and drain thoroughly.
Roll dough into a 15x10-inch rectangle. Spread on ground beef mixture to 1-inch from edges. Layer with mushroom-red pepper mixture. Sprinkle on cheeses. Roll starting at long edge. Pinch along seam to seal.
Place stromboli in center of prepared baking sheet, keeping seam side down and tucking ends under. Cut slits into top of stromboli.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly before serving.
