O.k. Thanks to Betsy who gathered the great photos! Here is an explination of how to make each one.

The first one uses a strawberry cake and icing and has licorise legs . It appears to be a smaller cake that has been carved from a couple of sheet cakes. This one has marshmallows for the white fur. It would take some time, but would be pretty easy to do. You could substitute your favorite cakes and use buttercream icing tinted pink if desired. You could also use white buttercream for the marshmallows if desired.

Cake number 2: This is made from an actual wilton cake pan, but it is not a current pan. Best advice here is check about rentals if you have a cake supply store, or look on ebay for it.

Made with pound cake

Cake 3: This is not for beginners. It involves stacking several trimmed poundcakes with supports and carving the shape. Anyone who is brave enough to try this just post here for me and I'll try to explain this one as best OI can. I don't usually do carved cakes myself.

Cake 4: This has either an airbrush or an edible image on it. I can't tell from the picture. There again, check a cake supply store for the image if you have one in you area. The airbrushing could only be done by a professional decorator's airbrushing machine which are fairly expensive and not for the hoome cook.

Cake 5: This has been drawn on freehand using tinted buttercream icing. It would be easy enough for someone with moderate cake decorating experience.
Thanks again to Betsy for all the great pictures!
