Misc.
Angela,

Here is great salad or dessert. I fix for a crowd before everyone loved it.

Pretezel Strawberry Gelatin

4 TBSP. margarine,melted
2TBSP. light brown sugar
2 cups crushed pretezels
1(6-oz)pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 envelope dry whipped topping mix
1/2 cup milk

Combine margarine, brown sugar and pretezels, and press into a 13x9 baking pan.
bake at 350 for 10 minutes;cool. Meanwhile dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until dissolved. Add sliced strawberries. Cool in refrigerator until gelatin begins to set. In mixer, beat cream cheese with sugar. Prepare whipped topping according to pkg. direction. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Spread over cooled crust. Pour semi-firm gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer. Refrigerator until congealed.
