Recipe(tried): Pumpkin Bread

I also have a recipe for pumpkin bread that is very good. It also makes 6 mini loafs.

PUMPKIN BREAD

2/3 cup shortening
2 2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
i can (16 oz.) pumpkin (not pie filling)
2/3 can water
2/3 cup chopped nuts
3 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp.baking powder
1 tsp.cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 cup raisins

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and then pumpkin and water. Stir in sifted dry ingredients, add raisins and nuts. Pour in greased pans, bake at 350F for about 60-70 minutes (check mini loaves sooner).

Makes: 6 mini loafs or 2-9x5 pans or 3-8x4.
