QUICK ADDITIONS FOR SALSA
Great just the way it is, salsa can be elevated a few new ingredients. Begin with 1 cup fresh salsa (found in plastic pint containers in the deli case at most grocery stores; jarred salsa will do in a pinch), then add the following:
BLACK BEAN AND CORN:
1/4 cup canned black beans, drained; 1/4 cup corn (fresh and cooked, or frozen and defrosted).
GRILLED VEGETABLES:
1/2 bell pepper (any color), grilled and diced; 1/2 medium red onion, grilled and diced.
MANGO:
1 mango, diced (about 1/2 cup).
GARDEN:
1/2 cup diced cucumber, 1/2 cup halved and thinly sliced radishes.
