Recipe: Quick Applesauce (microwave)

QUICK APPLESAUCE

3 Golden Delicious apples, pared, cored and sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Cook apples in a covered microwave safe container on high for eight to ten minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Beat in sugar, vanilla and lemon peel.
