2 tablespoons rum
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

12 chicken wings (2 lbs)

Make a marinade by combining the molasses, rum, oil, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

Remove the wing tips and discard. Cut the wings at the joint into 2 pieces. Add to the marinade. Let marinate, refrigerated, at least 4 hours.

Remove the wings from the marinade and put on a rack in a broiler pan.

Bake until browned and cooked through, turning and brushing with marinade halfway through, about 30 minutes.
