Recipe(tried): Re: Herbs, Herbs, Herbs :+)

Misc.

Hi, I've dried all of the herbs you mentioned successfully (except for cilantro which I personally don't like, but it will dry like parsley). I have dried parsley from summer before last that's still green! Here are some tips: Wash well before drying and be sure all water is evaporated (lay out on paper towels). It's better to dry whole branches of parsley and crumble it into recipes when you're ready; with chives dry whole leaves and snip them into recipes later. Be sure they're thoroughly dehydrated and keep them in ziplock bags in the fridge. I don't see why you can't dry several varieties at once on different trays. Good luck!
