Recipe(tried): Re: Herbs, Herbs, Herbs :+)

Misc.

Think you have your answer from the other two posts but I would like to add to be careful if you dry more than one herb at once in your dehyrator, epecially if you don't have them on solid fruit roll sheets. Sometimes as herbs dry, there will be little pieces that fall down on the tray below and you can end up with the bottom tray being a mix of something you want or really don't want. No longer than it takes them to dry, if you don't have the solid sheets I would do just one tray at a time. In Mary Bell's Complete Dehydrator Cookbook, there is an entire chapter on ways to dry herbs and ways to use them as well as recipes for herb vinegar, etc. Might want to check it out.
