Recipe: Hole In The Wall's Fabulous Hamburgers (Jack Daniel's, Ortega, Red Wine, and Feta)
Main Dishes - Beef and Other MeatsHOLE IN THE WALL'S FOUR FABULOUS HAMBURGERS
JACK DANIEL'S BURGERS
2 lbs. ground beef
6 oz. Jack Daniel's Sauce, cooled (recipe follows)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for 2 hours prior to cooking. Shape into patties. Grill to taste.
JACK DANIEL'S BURGERS SAUCE
2 oz. apple cider vinegar
2 oz. water
8 oz. tomato sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. relish
2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1/2 yellow onion, diced
Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a small saucepan; simmer 30 minutes. Cool.
ORTEGA BURGERS
2 lbs. ground beef
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
2 tbsp. finely minced garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tbsp. ground cumin
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for 2 hours prior to cooking. Shape into patties. Grill to taste.
RED WINE HAMBURGERS
2 lbs. ground beef
4 oz. red wine
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp. finely minced garlic
1 tbsp. ground cumin
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1 beef bullion cube
1/2 yellow onion, diced
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for 2 hours prior to cooking. Shape into patties. Grill to taste.
FETA BURGERS
2 lbs. ground beef
12 oz. feta cheese crumbles
4 oz. thai sweet chili sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped garlic
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for 2 hours prior to cooking. Shape into patties. Grill to taste.
