Recipe: Rhubarb Surprise (with cream cheese filling and strawberry-rhubarb topping)

FOR THE CRUST:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped finely
1/4 cup softened margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
FOR THE FILLING:
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
FOR THE TOPPING:
3 cup fresh rhubarb, chopped
1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
TO PREPARE THE CRUST:
Mix crust ingredients, adding margarine and vanilla last. Press into ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
TO PREPARE THE FILLING:
In bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Beat in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Pour over crust.
Bake 20 minutes or until edges are light brown.
PREPARE THE TOPPING:
In large saucepan, mix chopped rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, water, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and rhubarb is tender. Cool.
Pour cooled topping over cheese filling and chill.
TO SERVE:
Serve with whipped cream. Refrigerate.

This recipe is similar to what you described. If you substitute a graham cracker crust maybe you'll have it!
