Recipe(tried): RUTABAGAS

Side Dishes - Vegetables
This is my first time on this Website-a friend sent it to me and i really like it--i live in the deep South and i have been readig all about the Rutabaga messages..l o l we cook them with a little salt pork or smoked pork-salt and black pepper and either mash them or cube them--we also grow them in our garden and the home grown ones are much sweeter-easier to peel and cook a lot quicker..add some Southern cornbread and enjoy-
