Recipe: Ruth's Hash

Hi Bev,

I'm not sure of the original source of this recipe but it fits your description!

Ruth's Hash

2 cups ground cooked meat
3 cups finely ground raw potatoes
1/2 cup ground onion
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees (moderate). Mix meat, potatoes and onion; add milk and seasoning. Place in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Dot with butter. Bake about 1 hour.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with heated catsup or chili sauce.
