Recipe(tried): Saltine Stuffing - Saltines make the best stuffing

Side Dishes - Stuffings, Dressings
I agree with RAP above and am amazed that more haven't tried this: Saltine Crackers. My father made this stuffing all his/ our lives and no other has ever compared.

Get the salted crackers (no need to add additional salt later). I use

1 1/2 boxes saltine crackers (some for the bird and an extra pan).
1 or 2 eggs. lightly beaten
celery and onion, chopped and sauteed (in butter)
poultry seasoning
giblet broth

Combine the ingredients and use the giblet broth for wetting.

You can add whatever you want to this: sausage, nuts, etc, being mindful of the grease, but the butter makes the flavor and it is rib-sticking deliciouis.

Chop your cooked giblets and make a soulful mushroom gravy. I tested this out on friends and others who were accustomed to regular bread stuffing and it always wins out with begging for more and for take home leftovers.
