Apple-Cranberry Stuffing
Newsgroup: rec.food.cooking/Pamela Cale

Any boxed bread stuffing fixed by directions
Turkey giblets, pan-fried, chopped (mince the liver if you have kids)
1 Pippin or Granny Smith apple, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup whole cranberries
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 minced cloves of garlic

This is a highly textured and flavorful stuffing. It could certainly be a meal in itself when you're polishing off the leftovers!
