Recipe: Rum Glazed Ribs (Meyer's Rum recipe)

RUM GLAZED RIBS

2 pounds pork spareribs
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons honey (or molasses)
1 cup beef broth (or water)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup Myers's Rum

Cut apart 2 pounds pork spareribs. Parboil in water to cover, about 1 hour

Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.

Drain spareribs and add to bowl, turning to coat all sides. Refrigerate, covered, about 4 hours (or longer).

WHEN READY TO COOK:
Broil or bake ribs at 350 degrees F, turning and basting often (until last 10 minutes) with sauce until glazed and golden brown, about 30 minutes.
