Recipe: Savannah Crab Stew (not The Exchange's)

SAVANNAH CRAB STEW

1 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 cup grated cheese
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup sherry
1/2 lb. crabmeat

Melt butter. Add and blend in flour.

Add milk, gradually cook and stir until smooth. Add seasonings. Stir in cheese.

Just before serving add lemon juice, sherry and crabmeat.
