Recipe(tried): Seasoning Mixes - Salad Seasoning, Poultry Seasonging, Fish Seasoning, Chili Seasoning

Herbs and Spices
5 SEASONING MIXES

SALAD SEASONING

2 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 Tbsp seasoned salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp marjoram
1 Tbsp basil
1 Tbsp dried chives
1 Tbsp celery seed
1 Tbsp dill weed

Combine and sprinkle over salads or use in dressings as desired.


ITALIAN HERB SEASONING

1 Tbsp each crushed dried marjoram, basil,oregano,thyme,rosemary,savory, and sage
1 to 2 dried chili peppers, crushed seeds removed if desired
2 bay leaves broken into small pieces

Mix above ingredients and use to season italian dishes on salads or on meat as desired. Store in airtight container.


POULTRY SEASONING

2 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp sage
1 tsp white pepper
1 Tbsp each oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, ground ginger, celery salt

Combine ingredients and store in airtight container. Use with poultry dishes.


FISH SEASONING

2 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 Tbsp each dried grated lemon rind, celery seed, thyme, marjoram, savory
1 tsp dried chives
1 bay leaf broken into small pieces

Combine ingredients and store in airtight container. Use with Bake or fried fish. Makes 1/2 Cup.


CHILI SEASONING

1 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1 Tbsp seasoned salt
1 dried chili pepper, crushed
1 tsp instant minced dried onion
1/4 tsp instant minced dried garlic

Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container. Use as seasoning in any chili recipe using 1 pound of hamburger meat. Also makes great chili seasoned burgers. Makes 1/3 Cup seasoning.
