BAKED BRANDIED CRANBERRIES
"This tangy-sweet cranberry relish goes well with pork, ham, chicken or turkey."
1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries*
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoon grated orange peel
3 tablespoons brandy (or orange juice)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Uncover; stir. Bake an additional 30 to 40 minutes or until cranberries pop and mixture is slightly thickened. Serve warm or cold.
*If using frozen cranberries, add 5 to 10 minutes to the baking time.
Makes 8 servings (1/4 cup each)
