Recipe: Tuna Noodle Casserole (with mushrooms and potato chips)

TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE

8 oz. egg noodles
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
1 cup potato chips, crushed
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Cook noodles until done, drain.

Saute onion and celery in butter. Stir in tuna, soup, milk, mayonnaise, mushrooms, and pimento.

In 2-quart casserole, combine noodles and tuna mixture. Top with potato chips tossed in 2 tablespoons melted butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
