Connie,
All the wheat bread recipes I have tried use both wheat and white flour. Here is two I like.
2 1/2 tsp. dry yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbls. sugar
1 1/2 Tbls. dry milk
4 1/2 tsp butter or margarine (room temp)
1 1/2 cups less 3 Tbls. warm water
Place all ingredients in order into bread machine. Select white bread setting and press start.
Honey Wheat Bread
1 pkg. yeast
3/4 cup wheat flour
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine (room temp)
1 egg (room temp)
1 cup plus 1 Tbls.warm water
Place all ingredients into bread machine. Select white bread setting. Start.
GOOD LUCK!!!!
