Yam and Carrot Kugel
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup grated yams
1 cup applesauce
1 cup raisins
1 cup of either sugar or brown sugar or honey
1 cup flour
1 teaspoonful baking soda
1/4 teaspoonful or to taste nutmeg
1/4 teaspoonful or to taste cinnamon
1/2 cup oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit. Grease a loaf pan.
Soak raisins in hot water to plump and drain them. Add all ingredients in the order of the recipe, ie carrots then yams, applesauce, raisins, etc. Stir and pour into pan or small pans.
Bake for about an hour and then eat!
