ISO: chocolate cake with fresh raspberries
Misc.Hello! I'm desperately searching for a recipe that I've misplaced.
The recipe is for a chocolate cake (baked in a 9" by 13" pan. You use a cake mix to make the cake, then you add a layer of fresh raspberries over the uncooked batter. On top of the raspberries you add a streusel topping made with almonds and some other ingredients.
I'm certain that I originally found this recipe in either a Pillsbury or Betty Crocker magazine that you buy at the grocery store (those little magazines found by the cash registers).
I believe the recipe was in an issue between 1998 and 2000. My husband even thinks the cake might have been pictured on the cover of the magazine.
We just moved into a new house, and I cannot find those old magazines for the life of me.
We're adopting a baby, and expect him to arrive from Korea this weekend. I'd love to be able to make this cake, and serve it to family and friends who will be visiting us.
I'd appreciate any help you wonderful bakers can give me in locating this recipe!
Sincerely,
Carrie Shore
