ISO: Chocolate Chip Cookie with Brown Butter Icing (1950's)

I am looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that appeared in the magazine section of the NY American Journal Sunday newspaper in the 1950's. The cookies were very thick (almost cake-like) and had a browned butter icing on them. The ingredients included Carnation Evaporated milk and solid vegetable shortening. My sister loved these cookies but lost the recipe a few years ago and I would like to find it for her.
