BRENDA:
Good afternoon. Brenda, do not let Gladys fool you, she is a expert on food matter bizz-nizzz. Now then Brenda, the the safety rules on food sanitary governing restaurants in America (Hdqtrs is in Chicago.) is that food is to be kept at temp. between 40/45 degrees to 140/145 degrees to be safe.. Otherwise, you will be opening the door to food bacteria. Sooo, it depends a lot on the condition of the crock pot. Some may wear out & fail to hold that temp. Any way my friend buy a therm. at your local supermarket (Zero degrees to over 200 degrres) & check out your crockpot food temp when the setting is placed on low. Good luck I hope this info will provide you with insight. Have a nice day young lady.
