ISO: Micha, Could you please post from your Betty Crocker?
Misc.Hello Everyone,
There are numerous editions of the Classic Red Betty Crocker Cook Book. Micha, I think you have the edition that I used to have as you posted the exact copy of the Chicken Pot Pie recipe I was seeking so your copy should also have this recipe...
This time, please ladies, hold your giggles, as Brig the New Chef requests the recipe (I am hoping my memory is correct in recalling that it is from Betty Crocker) The recipe has potatoes, mustard (I think dried mustard), wieners, and I think cheese as well. I may make the recipe as is probably substituting ham for the wieners or I may use the sauce (creamy, mustardy, cheesy) as a base or inspiration for something else.
I was just thinking what I could make for my upcoming work week. I have to eat dinner at around 3:30 p.m. before I leave for work so I don't really want to eat a typical dinner like Fish and Chips, or a roast or whatever. Right now I find my Artichoke Chicken slow cooker recipe I posted on this site palatable at this early time.(I have many cans of artichokes in my cupboard. If you have a recipe (slow cooker or otherwise) you'd like to share using these, I'd love for you to post them.)
Betsy, if Carolyn has spoken about her new business, could you please send me the link as I'd be interested in reading all about it.
I only have one part-time job at the moment which does not give me enough money to support myself with my high debt-load. Currently waiting for an ill Restaurant Manager to return to her work (elsewhere) so that I may speak to her about a position in her restaurant.
Nothing else new. Working at a Canadian based franchise Pizza, etc. chain. Doesn't really further develop my cooking skills but it will help my lousy memory and increase my speed both of which I really need. (Not allowed to discuss the name as a condition of my employment.)
Lots of love and yummy dinner wishes to all.
Brig
