ISO: Need help finding an Italian fried honey-dipped cookie recipe
Misc.Hi,
I'm trying to find a recipe for an italian cookie my grandmother used to make.
They were made of 1/4 inch balls of standard italian cookie dough, deep fried & drained. Then all of the cookies were placed in a large bowl, where they were coated in honey & mixed with chocolate pieces. They would all stick together & we would scoop out a clump into a smaller bowl & eat them with our fingers.
The cookies were crunchy not puffy like doughnuts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Kathy
