ISO: on the stove apple dumplings

i am looking for the recipe for aple dumplings, i am wanting a recipe for apple dumpling that are cooked on the stove like "chicken and dumplings" a creamy broth with cinnomon and sugars and apples with dumplings, my great great grand mother made these for my father as he was growing up and he would love to have some of these, and would love to be able to make them for him all please contact me a.s.a.p. thanks for your time.
