Thank You: Drying hot peppers

Joan - thank you so much for your reply - just the information I was hoping to get. My DH had wondered about the trays having the "heat" transfer to other foods, and you answered that, too.

One more question - about how long does it take to dry them using the dehydrator/evaporator (as ours is called)?

Are you up to your neck in snow out there in Idaho?
