My mother had this cookbook from her H.S. home ec class. These were the first cookies I ever baked. I got in trouble for doing it (I was only about 9 yrs old); not as much as my older sister who was babysitting. But I followed the very simple directions and the cookies turned out great! My mom lost that cook book years ago; and I have been trying to find this recipe again. Thank you so much for posting this. I'll bake them for my kids tomorrow. :-)
