Thank You: Jackie, Thanks for Posting Egg Nog Pie!
Misc.Dearest Jackie,
Thanks you ever so much for taking the time to post the Yorkshire Pudding and the Egg Nog Pie. I have never made Yorkshire Pudding so it will be fun to try something so classic this holiday season.
I might just include the Eggnog Pie with my dessert buffet this year!
How is the weather in MA? Is it snowing yet?
Yesterday evening it started to rain here and it rained all night. When that happens in Florida in wintertime, that means a cold front always follows.
So, this morning as I was putting the trash bin out, I noticed the coolness in the air and the sky is all grey and there's wetness in the air. It reminded me so much of New York when I lived there...it would get like that just before it started to snow.
There is nothing on earth like the first snowfall of the season where everything is sooooo white! I love it! I loved going outside and tilting my head backwards to catch the snowflakes on my tongue!!! What can I say? I simply adore the cold weather and getting all bundled up for it. I loved it when the tip of my nose got so cold and my cheeks turned rosy red. I loved to hear and feel the "crunch-crunch" sound of walking thru thick snow.
Maybe I will get to enjoy some of that if I go back to my old neighborhood in New York in January to visit old friends...my DH thinks I am nuts!
Jackie, thanks for sharing these yummy recipes for the holidays!!
Your Friend, Gina
