Thank You: Manyhats for the recipe
Misc.DH asked me if I was going to do my stuffing (since he likes that almost as much as the turkey) and I am somewhat leary of doing stuffing in the cavity of this small turkey. The size of your chicken is half of the turkey weight.
It seems to me there might be a danger in putting warm stuffing into a cold turkey, then putting the temperature on low for 10 hours or so.
I'm thinking that if I do that, it should be on high for about 4 hours, then low for another 8 or so. Or maybe I'll just do the stuffing separate, but it's never as good as in the bird.
Any words of advice here will be appreciated.
Thanks, manyhats for your recipe and method. Stay tuned!! I believe Thursday will be the day.
Hugs to all - June
