2-storey house vs bungalow

I'm quite surprised how many of you seem to prefer 2 stories. My home is two stories with a basement. The laundry is in the basement and we have only ONE bathroom on the 2nd storey. I hate trucking all the laundry up and down and when guests come over to use the hot tub on the back deck, they have to go thru the kitchen and up the stairs (sometimes dripping wet) to use the bathroom. Yuck. Unless it's properly designed with enough bathrooms and main floor laundry (if not 2nd floor), my vote is for bungalow, thank you very much!
